The second national dance's festival
"Eastern Starfalling"

The second festival of Belly Dance “Eastern Starfalling” was held on February 3 of 2006. It was conducted as a public event. This time there was a chance for anyone to take part in it. And you did not have to be a professional for it.
There were 35 dance items, 19 of them were the solo ones. Participants from many Russian cities took part in this festival.
Various items such as Khaligi, Saidi, the Indian classical dance Kathak and the drum play by virtuoso Ali were presented to the audience. Children from Syria performed a Kurdish folklore dance and Harish from India performed a classical dance Bharat Natyam. Irina Koziryova rejoiced the audience with her performance in the end of the festival.The event was really unforgettable!
